Sports Minister meets with the President of the International Federation of Jeet Kune Do

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, met with Ahmed Abdel Latif, President of the International Federation of Jeet Kune Do, in the presence of Major General Ahmed Nasser, President of the Confederation of African Confederations "OXA."

He explained that Jeet Kune Do Federation is one of the newly established federations to spread a new type of martial arts. He also stressed that the coming period will witness full coordination with the Federation to involve the largest number of young people to practice the game and work on its spread. 

Ahmed Abdel Latif, President of the International Jeet Kune Do Federation, thanked the Minister of Youth and Sports for his contribution to the establishment of the African Jeet Kune Do Federation, in addition to its hosting of the first African Championship of Jeet Kune Do as Egypt has the several numbers of players in this sport.

It is noteworthy that Keet Kune Do is a modern martial art incorporating elements of kung fu, fencing, and boxing.
