Sports Minister heads to Cameroon to support the national team in AFCON semi-final

In light of his keenness to support the national teams participating in the various tournaments, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, will head to the Cameroon capital, "Yaounde" today, Thursday; To attend the match between Egypt and Cameroon in the African Nations Cup, hosted by Cameroon.
The match will start at nine in the evening in the semi-finals of the AFCON, after the national team sailed into semi-finals after defeating Morocco on
Sunday with a 2-1 win, and Cameroon qualified at the expense of the Gambia team.
The Minister of Sports affirmed the Egyptian fans’ anticipation of today’s match, and their support for the players to continue providing outstanding performance, winning the match, qualifying for the final of the tournament and achieving the African title which they are seeking since 2010.
The Minister of Youth and Sports expressed his sincere wishes to the players of the national team and the technical staff that success will be their ally in today's match.
After his arrival in Cameroon, the Minister of Youth and Sports will meet with his Cameroonian counterpart to discuss joint cooperation, in the presence of Medhat El-Meligy, Egypt's ambassador to Cameroon, in addition to a meeting with the President of the Confederation of African Football, Patrice Motsebe.
