Egypt monopolizes the top three positions in the Target Sprint World Shooting Championship

The first day of the men's and women's 10m Target Sprint and 10m air rifle competitions and men's and women's air pistols witnessed strong competition in the World Cup for Shooting Rifle and Pistol hosted by Egypt at the new shooting range in the Egypt International Olympic Games City in the Administrative Capital. 


The results of the Target Sprint competitions are as follows:


Egypt monopolized the first three places through the first Karim Abdel Nasser, the gold medal, the second, Tariq Tharwat, the third Ahmed Fahim, the bronze medal after a fierce competition against Germany, Britain, and Oman.


Results of the Women's target sprint:


The first Anja Fischer from Germany won the gold medal, the second Hala Atman from Egypt, the silver medal, and the third Aisha El-Majni from Amman.


Results of the Junior Target Sprint:


The first Ali Kamal from Egypt won the gold medal, the second Mohamed Douma from Egypt, the silver medal, and the third Luca Goman from Germany, bronze medal.


Results of the women's target sprint competitions:


The first Victoria Bradbury from Germany won the gold medal, the second Emily Scheuer from Germany the silver medal, the third Mira Ahmed from Egypt, the bronze medal. 


In the women’s 10m competition, Miller from France won the gold medal, Galastina from Russia came to the silver medal, and Uzis from America took the bronze medal. Results of 10 men's rifles:


The first place was won by Sola from Italy, the second place by Jani from Chico, Slovakia, and the third place by Pravitsky from the Czech Republic. 


The tournament is held from February 27 to March 8, under the supervision of the Egyptian Shooting Federation headed by Mr. Hazem Hosny and the patronage of Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports. It witnesses the participation of 65 various countries.
