Youth Minister holds the first official meeting in the new administrative capital

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, held the first official meeting inside the Ministry’s headquarters in the government district in the Administrative Capital. It was attended by several ministry leaders within the framework of the preparations of the ministries, agencies, and various authorities in the country for the complete relocation and work from the government district in the new administrative capital within the directives of the political leadership.


He affirmed that moving to the government district and working through the new headquarters is a clear message and also emphasizes that Egypt is taking steps toward a bright future. Despite all challenges and the beginning of a new era of advanced government work, it represents a civilized shift in light of the new republic inaugurated by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.


The meeting dealt with the file of facilities in the governorates, especially the Red Sea Governorate. It also discussed the most important challenges in youth and sports facilities that impede these facilities and the operational situation of the youth city in Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh, and the work carried out by Al-Moudon for Sports and Youth Services.


The meeting was attended by Major General Ismail Al-Far, Executive Director of the Ministry, Dr. Muhammad Al-Kurdi, Assistant Minister for Championship Affairs, Magdy Rushdi, Head of the Central Administration for Ancillary Services, Dr. Yasmine Iraqi, Head of the Central Department for Planning and Follow-up, Muhammad Abd al-Nabi, Head of the Central Department for Information Systems and Digital Transformation, Dr. Abdel Awal Assistant Minister for National Affairs Championship, Adel Al-Ashmouni, Director General of Administrative Affairs, Eng. Youssef Marzouk, Executive Director of Al-Modon for Sports and Youth Services.
