Egypt has succeeded in hosting the meetings of the Board of Directors of the World Anti-Doping Agency and the meetings of the Executive Office of the organization, where the agenda of the meetings came to choose the host country for the World Anti-Doping Conference, which is scheduled to be held in November 2025.
Three countries were candidates to host the conference: South Korea, Oman and Finland.
Each country submitted a file for hosting the conference, in which they provided a detailed explanation of hosting the conference, including all other details.
Each country submitted an Expression of Interest (EOI) to host the Conference, in which they provided a detailed explanation of hosting the conference.
Subsequently, WADA’s Foundation Board has selected Busan, Republic of Korea, as the host city for the sixth World Conference on Doping in Sport, after Poland hosted its last edition in 2019, while Lausanne, Switzerland, hosted the first edition in 1999.
The conference aims to spread awareness in the whole world of the dangers of doping and raise awareness of its dangers and harms to athletes in particular and to society in general, and to work to limit it and reduce its spread.
