Official delegation to receive Egypt's fencing team after winning the African Championship title claiming 21 medals

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, delegated his assistant, Dr. Abdel Awal Mohamed and Dr. Mohamed El Domyati, Director General of Sports Organizations, to receive the delegation of the national fencing team at Cairo International Airport after completing the participation in the African Fencing Championship that was held in the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco.


Egypt’s fencing team managed to achieve 21 medals, including 8 gold, 6 silver, and 7 bronze medals, to crown the team with the African Championship title, emphasizing the superiority of the Egyptian Fencing sport.


Sobhy congratulated the Egyptian Fencing Federation headed by Abdel Moneim Al-Husseiny, the players of the national team, the technical staff and coaches for the performance presented in the tournament and for claiming 21 medals, which is a new achievement achieved by Egypt’s champions on the level of the African continent.
