Q: What are your remarkable achievements before reaching this Olympic glory?

A: I snatched many medal at the global and local championships such as the 2014 world championship and the world championship in 2016.

Q: What support did you receive after winning the bronze medal at Rio Olympics?

A: The support wasn’t enough after the Olympics, there were no external camps and despite that I won the world championship in 2017. But in 2018, the ministry of youth and sports supported me enough and that was the reason I got to win all these titles and medal in the last year as it afforded me two external camps.

Q: what problems faced you because of the lack of sponsor for you despite the ministry of youth and sports guarantied you internal and external camps in addition to most of the factors that help you get medals and titles?

A: The Ministry affords my camps, accommodation and transitions, but because of the high prices of the vitamins, food and trainings, I need a personal sponsor for me to provide these essential factors to win the gold medal at The 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Q: What did Mohamed Salah tell you after winning Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum creative sports Award?

A: We praised each other’s achievements, which supported and improved the Egyptian and Arab sports, and now we are ambassadors for Egypt at most of the international sports tournaments, Mohamed Salah congratulated me after winning the gold medal of the world championship in Turkmenistan.

Q: What are your dreams in 2019?

A: I dream to win the best African player, and to make a new record.
