Abdelrahman Tolba Wins Gold at the Junior Foil Fencing World Cup in Fujairah
Abdelrahman Tolba, the world’s top-ranked junior fencer, claimed the gold medal at the Junior Foil Fencing World Cup currently being held in Fujairah, running until January 5.
Tolba secured the gold after defeating the British player in the final match with a score of 15-6.
He began his journey in the tournament with a flawless performance in the group stage, advancing directly to the Round of 32.
In the Round of 32, Tolba defeated a player from Kazakhstan 15-7. He then triumphed in the Round of 16 over a player from Singapore with a score of 15-13.
In the quarterfinals, Tolba overcame a Chinese player with a 15-8 victory. He continued his dominance in the semifinals, again defeating a Chinese player with the same score of 15-8.
Finally, Tolba crowned his stellar performance by securing the gold medal with a decisive 15-6 victory over the British player in the final match.
