Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, met with Dr. Rasha Ragheb, Executive Director of the National Training Academy, to discuss prospects for joint cooperation and the expansion of development programs targeting youth, in line with Egypt’s strategic national objectives.
The meeting included a review of the existing cooperation between the Ministry and the Academy, particularly in training, qualification, and capacity-building programs aimed at empowering Egyptian youth and preparing them for active participation in various development pathways. They also discussed ways to expand future joint programs to ensure tangible impact in raising national awareness and preparing a generation of leaders capable of decision-making and contributing to building a modern state.
During the meeting, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy emphasized that cooperation with the National Training Academy adds significant value to the Ministry’s efforts in raising awareness among Egyptian youth and equipping them with the skills necessary to enhance their societal engagement. He stressed that the joint programs contribute to shaping youth character, broadening their perspectives on national issues, and fostering a sense of belonging and positive participation in supporting state institutions and developmental trajectories.
On her part, Dr. Rasha Ragheb affirmed that the Academy continues its efforts to prepare and qualify cadres capable of leading developmental transformations. She noted that the Academy operates under a comprehensive vision aimed at supporting the state’s sustainable development plans by enhancing human resource efficiency—particularly youth, as they represent a key pillar in building the future.
This meeting comes within the framework of the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ policy to strengthen the integration between training and awareness programs offered to youth and to build effective partnerships with national entities, contributing to the realization of Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the implementation of the political leadership’s directives regarding youth qualification and empowerment across various sectors.
